right..that’s landing. The figures posted in the FAA chart supplement is the estimated safe weight bearing capacity, as in takeoff too. Basically up to that weight, you are good for typical operations and it will hold. It’s not a limitation, but anything above that and you are testing it with no guarantees and need agreement with the local authority. Taking off you are going to be way over 110K…not to mention performance requirements for balanced field length.

I’ve been down there in the GA days and watched a SW 737-7NG almost go for a swim in marshes off the end of 27 in the summer, I can tell you guaranteed he didn’t clear the end by more than 20 feet.
