Even from a purely selfish standpoint, every type of aircraft, every SQ, every base, creates scheduling inefficiencies that are good for every pilot in terms of scheduling flexibility.

If a guy is happy flying the 190 out of BOS, that’s great for them—AND they’re not in my way at LAX.

I for one hope they keep all the planes forever.
