After several trips with the Andare 22" Apex, I can confirm my dislike of the bag strap. It routinely disconnects from the top clip and I finally lost the strap. It was on the bag when I boarded, but nowhere to be found after crossing the ocean. $25 to replace the strap. When I called about a replacement strap, they suggested putting a rivet or a screw through the strap to secure it to the bag. So much for aesthetics. I'm bringing my LW out of retirement for the next trip until I overcome my cheapness and spend 25% of the purchase price on a new bag strap. The bag handled a week (4 legs) worth of clothes plus 2 liters from duty free, but the strap is a weak point.
