I wonder what the “Big Picture” is here that we don’t seem to understand. At one of the bbq events I asked a manager what the plan was for retention. They seemed pretty confident people wanted to go to delta and that was the plan. Did they really think the Flow was going to solve everything, or were they oblivious to the lack of flight hours the FOs had, or is management just a day by day operation. Everyone saw this coming, the major hiring wasn’t a surprise, it’s in every bid pack that they are working on efficiency (I don’t think they are/care) so they know we’re not flying enough. Feels like we’re riding a dying horse.
