I would take warm against the quick upgrade. I’m not there, but my friend looked into them a few months ago. Lots and lots of FOs leaving, of course, some CAs leaving, but not as many. They have only hired a few in the past 6 months when every other is booming. A new FOs there is now looking at 4+ years for the upgrade, given their current rate of hiring and slow growth.
Say you have no idea what’s going on without actually saying it. We are enjoying moving up in seniority to FOs who are easily picked off by AA and other majors. Most of these came to us when their regionals closed last year so needless to say that weren’t here for a long time from the beginning. Still taking routes and planes from other Amzn carriers. Coming here right now is hedging a bet but if things continue to play out as they are you could be in an amazing place in 2 years…. On the other hand maybe not. But at least give your friend facts or say “I don’t really know anything about the landscape over there”
