I think the way the company handled all that was worse than an actual furlough. They used 1221 of our coworkers as political pawns over Christmas just to get more free money.
An actual furlough would have been more respectful if it was what the company needed to do to survive. But that's not what they chose to do.

Do you think it was the Capitol Hill side of things or the 10% concession demands that drove my WARN notice?
either explanation severely disappointing to me.
I’ve heard the political aspect and the 10% aspect. I’ve just never heard/read evidence pointing to one or the other
