If you are shooting a localizer to mins with a failed engine and go 15 knots too fast before landing safely in real life you’d be getting pats on the back from everyone. Seems like a bogus reason to fail a checkride. Maybe a “yeah just watch your speed a little more on final” debrief. But what others said it won’t be an issue.
It wasn’t single engine, if it was I think the examiner would have been a little more lenient. But like I said it’s my bad for trying to coach when that should have been done on the ground. However a few other check airmen thought it was a bit too harsh too. Oh well, won’t let it get me down!
