In 50 years we won't have any current plane flying (not even the remaining DC-9 variants). If what you predict ends up happening, it'll be clean sheet internal mechanisms, not an extra set of billion dollar servos, chips and fault messages before push. Either way the "tech" required will likely be more expensive than an FO for sure, and probably the entire crew.
