If you don't make it through the hiring process, try again if you want, and do not take it personally. There are many, many times when there is no logical reason that highly qualified candidates
are not hired...and sometimes they are told they are not hired, but then they are, and/or they try again and are suddenly highly qualified and hired no problem.

To everyone out there, and especially those suffering as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, God Bless, and Namaste...
What I noticed in the phone screen was a focus on your flight time, type of flying, crossings and they wanted it broken down pretty tight so I could see if you fumbled through it they dig deeper. At the end guy was like "look i know your 20 years Air Force but we have had multiple candidates we've found padding their times. If you get a phone screen just make sure your prepared to explain a lot about your flying history experience etc.

In the technical interview I definitely got asked about different crossings, controlling agencies (New York Radio, Gander, Shanwick, Santa Maria, Oakland) Using CPDLC, ADS etc. Explain crossings to Hawaii, give me a full position report at 30 West going east checking in with Gander and using CPDLC etc. Just look through the study guide they send, not rocket science if your have done it. Other focus was low vis taxi, takeoff mins, difference in a 10-9 versus 20-9 (none just two different airports in same city, example was Denver) crew actions at Hot spots, RVR takeoff mins, requirements with one out. Takeoff alternate requirements for 4 engine AC. Thought Process on rapid d, immediate and then other thoughts for rapid depress past ETP. When would you reject past V1.

HR was much more of a BS session, have good questions and be ready to explain first choice AC, why were etc. Whole second day took 1 hour each interview. Hope this helps, they want to hire yoiu so just be yourself!
