Domestic flying keeps 3-4 FAs working in the cabin.
International flying leads to 8 FAs working the cabin.
Next I point out how much international scope DALPA has given away.
The light comes on really quick when I point out international scope is only 1 additional pilot job (3 pilots vs 2) but 4 additional FA jobs (8 vs 4).
Scope is more important to FA jobs than pilot jobs. They need a union that will fight for it!
I agree with the sentiment but the old hard line AFA types are retiring and the new 20 somethings don’t care. It’s an up hill battle and the closer we get to the top, the steeper it gets.
