Throw in an endless irop, and they were done with this place. It used to take a while on the line to get the blue juice out of newhires. Now the company is doing it within the first few weeks of training. Easy for Warren to cite widebodies as the reason we are losing people. But that isn’t the only reason people are leaving.
I think they’re gonna get a wake-up call at some point soon. Like you said, it used to take a few years before people got disillusioned. At that point (generally around 3 years), a lot of people didn’t want to start over in seniority, pay, hiring process, or whatever. Now, they’re disillusion within the first year and it’s much easier to leave, especially in the current hiring environment.
