Why would someone continue to put forward the idea that someone who questions our subculture is a conspiracy theorist? That's a very lazy argument meant only to discredit and not to prove otherwise.
I've seen very specific instances of cronyism/insiders/good ol boys - whatever you want to call it. The managers/leaders of today were pilots yesterday and they know who's in and who's out. I'm not surprised by this but I certainly won't stick my head in the sand and act like it isn't happening.
The reason it's worth discussing is because it's worth big bucks and I'm very protective of my bucks - just as the boys who pull the strings protect their bucks.
Things around here seem to turn on attitude. I'm always in search of the right one because many of those who've risen have displayed some pretty contradictory values.
What I would really like to know is, when someone chucks a resume in the trash - just which attitude oracle do they consult and what is the gold standard.
Knowing this would allow us to hold our leaders accountable.
