Its always assumed the pilot with lower seniority will get far fewer greenslips. That’s more often than not incorrect. When greenslips are moving I often see every day GS 2, 3, or 4 being awarded. The other point about the higher pay rate is you can simply fly less and enjoy the QOL preached about on here.
Eternal NYC, working weekends and holidays, and doing this 2 days transcons does not sound like QOL at all. But just goes to show once again one man’s trash is another’s treasure. Or a 20 year old “influencers” posts, I don’t know…
