Tango Mike, the Flight Instructor application paperwork states that "Phase One of our interview process includes an interview with our Recruitment Team, consisting of a People Department representative and a JetBlue Pilot, a log book review, a debrief with a JetBlue University Manager, and a presentation."

If not selected in Phase one, you will be notified within 2 weeks.

The it states "Those who are selected for additional evaluation will progress to Phase Two. We will conduct an extensive background check, whereby we access information such as prior training records. Once the candidate’s background is complete, the files are passed on to a committee of impacted stakeholders who will review the information and make a final decision on moving a candidate into our “ready now” pool of Instructors. All candidates will be advised of their status within 8 to 12 weeks, and will be notified by telephone or e-mail.

Apparently the recorded audio to the 5 online questions is the first part of Phase one.

Hope that helps.
