This is just so silly that you defend this behavior. Do you think the company would Section 19 people just so that they can remind us of the benefits of FMLA when they could have made a phone call? There was only 1 reason for the section 19s over the holidays and it was to threaten all pilots with potential career consequences for calling in sick. The reason they weren't disciplined is because the company had absolutely nothing on them, it was all for show to encourage F9 pilots to fly sick in order to protect their operation. This is crap regional airlines do to flight attendants and i'd be very surprised if the FAA hasn't already gotten involved. The stockholm syndrome around this place amazes me.
