The company knows how many positions they want for the new bases and that will have to be met with a reduction in base positions to get that number. You misunderstand. I’m aware that low seniority crewmembers will be forced to transfer bases. There is now a chance that some of those crewmembers will hold a line in their new bases, and then can play the drop add game to effectively be based where they actually live, or at worst commute to a definitive schedule versus reserve.

Not a likely proposition 3 months ago with the open time situation, but I also think we’ll be understaffed based on attrition heading into the summer and that more trips will be there for pickup because of it.
