Well at least the company finally did something and showed some caring. I suggested the same idea on this forum, and was shot down by many saying “we” pilots shouldn’t waste our bargaining efforts on it. Well, the company did something without us bargaining. That should make those folks happy.
I assure you that the company didn’t do it because they care about the new hires. If they’re doing that, it’s because they think it will help their retention problem.
