I would be surprised if he can just come back. Most contracts have clauses for what happens when you resign. You can't just come back at your seniority because it's convenient for management
You've obviously never worked for Allegiant. Even if someone spent their last 10 years in the right seat at DAL the contract and QOL are night and day. Allegiant has become a miserable place to work unless you're in the top 30%.
No, there's no provision in the Allegiant contract to go back except as a new hire. Which makes it even more nuts. Seems to me someone would only do that if their leaving DAL wasn't voluntary.
