You realize what you said doesn’t make sense, right? Even IF your “high 80s to 90%” is true, it only holds validity if the percentage of white males applying is equal to or less than that percentage. 90% white male doesn’t matter, percentage of the application pool they make up is what matters.

In 2021 there is an estimated 164,000 active ATP certificates in the states.

In 2021 7600 of those are women.

Rough math 4.6% of ATPs are women. Curious to see the percentage of women in the flight decks at legacy airlines and see if it’s more or less than 4.6%

I clearly don’t care, more women in the profession has been something that’s been lagging for years. But you can’t just say “it’s all white males” without taking the numbers of all sides.
