I dont wear an overcoat of any kind, and never have, but I do have the blazer.

The walk around goes fairly quick and te blazer does just fine for me, I take it off before I sit down and hang it up to dry. I have never had any problems.

my biggest problem is wet boats and falling on the jet bridge stairs. But hell I do that when its dry.
