Not ideal. Doable. But hardly ideal. $50+ Uber/Lyft ride to MDW or a 90+ minute ride on the train, with a connection from the Blue Line to the Orange Line in The Loop.
As a former commuter? NFW. Maybe once or twice a year. Regularly? No way.
If that’s your commute option, there’s gotta be better options for airlines or bases.
You’ve got to really love where you live to commute regularly to MDW via ORD. Better off driving if you’re less than 200 miles.
