Do I have that right? I am just learning the aviation stuff and studying books to prepare to attend PPL course after returning back to the states this summer.
I'm not sure about Ari-Ben, but I think most of these schools charge about $10K, per stripe, per shoulder.
From what I understand $80K or so at Pan Am will get you a CFII, and four cool stripes. Add $2k-$4K per stripe for Riddle pukes....
Just bustin' your balls a little Soldierboy. Don't sweat the unifrom stuff in the civilian world. It's just another way for them to get a few more $ from you. Having to buy a uniform, when you are a paying customer is a joke. Tell them to where to stick it regarding the uniform. I'll bet they're still more than happy to take your money.
