The company sets overtime rates when they email asking for volunteers usually 1.5 or 2X usual rate but I know people have been contacted by dispatch on their go home day and been asked to extend and have negotiated a rate on the spot depending on how desperate they are to cover a trip. Just don’t go crazy, if you don’t want to do the trip then say no I need to go home rather than saying something like I’ll do it for 5X. They remember stuff like that and if you keep your side reasonable I know of a couple of instances where people have had 1.5 rates bumped for 2X or something along those lines.
