Overall, the vacancy indicates where the company THINKS they need people, nothing else. All flying is at the whim of AAG and can change from what was projected. There is certainly no additional flying, as it can’t be staffed. It’s only a shift of where AAG wants flights from and even then, with current through flying, other than origination and termination of a usually four day sequence, it may not be from the original base anyway.

No new planes until late in the year (only 3 new 175s) and one additional 170 already on property that should be on line during summer.

Any physical movement of planes from one base to the other is pretty transparent. The only thing one really sees is the number of lines in a given base.

There are no displacements OFF of any aircraft. There are likely to be some displacements from FO to CA, but that is not specifically related to which airframe, it will solely be based on who has the lowest seniority with eligible hours when the bid is run.

Without an actual displacement, upgrades could come from either plane and any base. Overall management of what is actually reduced won’t be known until the bid is run either as the company can choose to backfill vacancies or not as they happen during the bid.
