It's kinda hard to get people to negotiate for things they think "they" will never use. "Most" pilots are healthy, but as we age, we see either ourselves or compatriots, health fail. Some of the healthiest pilots I've known in my life have either lost their medical and/or life at a way earlier age than would be expected.
