USMC Flyer,
Visited Atlantic City FAA center last summer and met a female pilot that flew the King Air 300. She loved the job and was on her way to be the rep at OSKOSH.
I was told to search the FAA website for open positions. I have been checking but nothing has come up lately. I did manage to talk to the flight director for the FAA testing division not flight check, they are expecting to be hiring soon as few guys in Jersey are about to retire.
If you like Oklahoma, ran into the CON AIR GS pilots flying 737s and MD-11s based out of Oklahoma.

Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System (JPATS): Mr. S. Rolstad, Assistant Director 816-467-1900.
Air Operations Mr. J. Hurd, Chief of Flight Operations Oklahoma City, OK 405/680-3400
The pilots are not Marshalls and can fly as long as they can keep a class 1 and no FLTC requirement.
Hope this helps,
Spanky
