LOL this is soooooo true. But if you like outdoor life, SLC is hard to beat. Best golf/skiing/hiking/etc in the country. I'd take that in a heartbeat (even with the bizzaro world that you are talking about) over anything in Kalifornia. But hey... at least you can crap on the streets in SFO.
