Perfect, thanks. Just what I needed to know. No chance of finding a fare to NZ for less than it costs to fly anywhere in the states so probably best to have an apartment in HNL. At least that gets me closer to NZ. Pretty sure the family wont mind if they have to spend a couple of weeks in HNL now and then.
How senior is LAX? Would it take long to bid over if starting in ANC?
