At the very least, advise the pilots on the current state of the operations, what management is telling them, what we are asking from them, and what’s being implemented to try and fix this current issue. These are basic things you would expect from pilot leadership
If they want extra credit, they can use tools other airlines have done in their meltdowns including symbolic votes of no confidence (which we have never had under Ted). Just think about that.
They are our advocates and I don’t think they are advocating for the group right now
It is not the union's job to tell the company how to run their business. Their job is to protect our rights under the CBA. I doubt management is telling them much more than we already know.
