If/when Europe slides out of the art 33 as well as the stateside to ICN/NRT to include S. A., I myself will shift my attention towards the Far East as many will yet again. It was a nice break for a few months running down schnitzel, etc. At least if you choose to out base in Europe your chances of picking up lines will logically increase as folks fly hard for premium and some drop off the books on standard lines for better options. Less premium brings the masses to the honey pot and while the old normal draws little attention. What a whirlwind we live in.
That MIA-ICN and getting paid 34 hours (I did it for VX last month mid-pattern so it was 40 hours for me) for one flight will be missed, but now the MIA guys can go back to calling out sick for it so normal service will resume
ICN being Art33 is nuts. It just depends on how long this Omicron surge lasts there. Their vaccination coverage is good so doubt it will be for long. China/HKG will stay in lockdown for a long time, I doubt they will lift their crazy Covid Zero-policy this year, so there is still plenty of money to be made.
