You asked the question in the middle of an APC food fight, but yes, that is mostly reasonable. There is no minimum amount of flying you have to keep on your schedule, and I can count 5 different ways off the top of my head to get rid of a trip without having to pick up another one. Each has it’s own set of rules and its own time and place for use. Staffing is super tight right now which removes a lot of flexibility but it won’t be like that forever.
