This baffles me. We have over 600 flight attendants in the MCO base (and growing). Tomorrow we have 60 mainline departures out of MCO. A majority are on the A320/321 or 757/767.
Why not have a pilot base there?
Because that flying is still diluted with other NB fleets as well as the same fleets from different bases (of course). All that plus the 2018 "Optimizer" puts enormous pressure on any potential new base or category.
