Has anyone had an experience with getting offered a wide body class with sub-500 hours of turbine/121? I'm not super interested in the 737 because of the lack of ability to fly. Worth it to apply now or just wait it out until I get the 500 hours (should have it this fall) to get offered a wide body class? I could see myself at Atlas for the long haul but wouldn't want to turn down a CJO if all they can offer is the 737.
Right now there are tons of qualified candidates applying, so even at 500 you may not get that WB spot you wish.
How about, apply, get hired maybe on the 737, enjoy vastly superior QOL and pay compared to a regional for the 2 year seat lock, and then move over to a widebody with decent seniority?
