If we're going to try, we should boost training pay to min guarantee or 90hrs of credit like UAL does. That way newhires will be able to afford their crashpad (which most of them will need anyway), plus they'll have a little extra money to feed the family. My crashpad is far nicer than any MEM hotel, and having a full kitchen saved me hundreds of dollars on food in ITU while also letting me eat healthier.

Ultimately, hotels or higher year 1 pay is something the company should be asking us for, not the other way around.

We should be asking for hotels for every training event after newhire ITU, as that's something that benefits literally every single one of us.
