No one is advocating for anything above government per diem and the uniform allowance could easily be $1000 to $1500 per year. I am not a fan of the MCBP because everything I have seen shows that the tax savings is more than offset by the better investment options you can make after taxes with that same money. I am willing to see more evidence on that though. BTW I don’t think the hotel point juice is worth the squeeze. It would get too complicated and the company could easily cost that so high it wouldn’t be worth it.
