how does the last day of reserve work? At my current company they can push me into 7 am on my day off following the last day of reserve. Any quick take on how the final day of the rotation goes?
You won't have a problem getting reserve in weekends if that's what you want. The bottom 5-10% usually have it forced on their line and at least one person will thank you for taking it.
Bid your golden days for the first day off after a rsv stretch and if you're lucky enough to not be flying they have to release you by noon.
