no it’s more like an “ECIC is resting on their laurels” campaign. The interview team is tired of the ECIC drones, they will literally tell you that in the briefing that they give everyone before taking you out one at a time for your SBI or panel interview.

I agree with 318 here. During my interview process, there were 4 guys in our group that used both ECIC and Spitfire. I personally used ECIC. Every single one of the four guys said that they thought spitfire was better. Do I recommend ECIC, yes (I passed). Do I have any financial gains by recommending ECIC, definitely not. On the same note, none of the four guys had any financial benefit by saying that Spitfire was better than ECIC.
I also used RST but I am not sure how good it is now for the day one of interview. When I did mine we had to take JKT, Cog, and Pysch. They definitely helped me with the JKT and Cog part of the interview.
