This has resulted in the pilots on the line starting to get squeezed with legalities and is going to be very detrimental to their ability to recover from disruptions this summer. You heard it here first (or maybe not, SWAPA has been saying it for months).

They just cut a few thousand flights from the summer schedule, which equals about a day and a half of flying out of 60 days. The press is reporting that it is due to "pilot fatigue".

This summer is going to be a complete goat rope. The first major disruption we have is going to show how our operation is running on a very thin edge.
