Several reasons a PDT-ENY marriage wouldn’t happen that I mentioned before. The flying at PDT is the smallest group, but both companies do the majority of the other services for AAG. Underwing and gate agents and is a much bigger part of what they do. As I said, the are both ground services companies that happen to have some planes and pilots. I think they would keep the two separate for the whipsaw between them.
AAG is reducing 145 flying from Envoy and while I don’t think there have been anymore transfers to PDT for a while that’s where they were going. PSA and PDT would still be two different fleets but keeping all the 145s with Envoy would be the same and that would leave PSA a much smaller flight operation than Envoy so the whipsaw isn’t as effective.
AAG doesn’t want to BUY anything anytime soon they don’t have to. They are swimming in debt. They love RPA and SKW because they can buy the planes and AAG gives them the flying.
