Off the street.

In March orientation there were:
5 - cadets (they are first for #s)
3 - prior 121 (second group)
39 - everyone else

Everyone gets their seniority numbers in orientation across the three groups.

Me being older than most I was near the top of the third group but behind cadets and prior-121 experience people. Unfortunately the orientation size of 47 (50 in Feb) is too large to start as one class so they break the groups up across 2, 3, or maybe even 4 class start dates.

The class for 5/2 can not be larger than 13 because #14 and I have kept in touch and he doesn't have a class date yet.. so at best I am 10 of 13, perhaps #10 of 10.

Assuming an all 175 drop I have zero heartburn, base doesn't matter to me, I'll suck it up for a bid cycle or two. Either way I am going to make the best of it, learn my stuff and get to flying. I will advise here that evening what the drop was..
