I am opted in. After they announced aviate there’s been almost no people flowing to UA. Pretty sure united has realized the aviate carriers are so understaffed that pulling people from said carrier would only cripple their ability to fly their branded metal even more. I don’t when they’re going to start pulling people from the flow. I also don’t think if you leave the aviate flow you go on a “do not hire” list.
The only reason I bring it up is because I'm an Aviate coach. We were told that flows will start going once all the qualified pilots already in Aviate are transitioned to United.
And I just want to be clear, I'm not advocating you stay and wait for the flow, I just want to make sure you don't end up screwing yourself if you do want to end up at United down the road. Either way, good luck!
