If you think this is a ridiculous rule, email your fleet captain and tell them that you aren't going to follow that rule tough guy. It has become obvious that you like to argue with everyone. Time to block the ignorant.
Talent? Tough guy? Another one making things personal here. If we were having this conversation in person, it would literally take a minute or two to say all the things we just said in a matter of fact way, like I’m trying to do here. And it would conclude with agreeing to disagree. Like it will here.
It’s not a huge deal. It’s a pet peeve. Nowhere did I say I would not follow the rules. That wasn’t the point. The point was pointing out a rule that seems to have lived beyond its usefulness. And my reasoning for that position is that other airlines don’t care what their own deadheaders wear as long as it conforms to what they require their the paying passengers to wear.
I apologize for bringing up a rule that I think is useless. God forbid anyone on this forum ever doing such a thing while also trying to have other more substantive conversations. Thank you for the indulgence though. Hopefully you don’t continue to think less of me.
