Say what you want about our former chief pilot, but that was one funny story.
For those who weren’t here. Long story short; some line guy was in a first class lounge internationally, on a DH, not following the uniform policy for DHs with his Company ID on. Chief Pilot is there as well on a DH. Chief walks over to question the offender; stupid answer from the offender was “what are you the uniform police?” Brilliant answer from the Chief Pilot was, “Matter of Fact I am!” Introduces himself.
Nothing like being the subject of an email from the Chief Pilot.
