I see. A divide and conquer strategy. Going for the smallest increase possible as opposed to delay as long as possible. Do you have a large % of pilots that are not on board with your mec’s ask/strategy? Doesn’t seem like it like looking from the outside so that would be a failed strategy on managements part imo.
The pilot group is in lockstep with the MEC. I think if that wasn't the case, we wouldn't have seen the attendance we did on April 1st. The company has long suggested that the pilots are happy, and that its the MEC that's telling them to be angry. Once again, the show of force we had during our informational picketing event should've been a tell tail sign that we as whole demand a market rate contract.
But yes, divide and conquer has been their objective from the beginning of negotiations, and its not working one bit
