I can see people having buyers remorse when I was 2 weeks into ER training, especially when doing 3 E period sims in a row. IQ IS kind of a grind that I can see a lot of people avoiding at all costs. But you’re right it’s like ripping a bandaid off. I’m SO glad I bid off the bus. ER trips are a thousand times better than the rest of the narrowbody fleet, and I like the plane a lot more.
I left the ER FO and went to the 320 to be a capt. I’m having serious buyers remorse. I enjoyed flying the 75 more that the 320 but who cares about that. The ER trips are so much better. 20 percent seniority to 80 percent might have something to do with it. I hope I can bid to ER capt in a few years.
