ALPA agreed to it without a pilot vote. It wasn’t forced on them. It is what it is and it’s all done, but anybody knew last year that the flow would absolutely affect OTS hiring if feed got scarce, that’s all.

Flows and SSPs are metering programs for the wholly owned. They are not jobs programs, or gifts. In the past, until Comair screwed it up, wholly owned carriers got seniority numbers.
The point of these programs is to allow the mainline to hire off the street instead of hiring everyone at the WO first. In other words, these programs are designed to keep you here, and maybe get you to mainline someday.
