Could it be that some 3-5 post people have been lurking for a while but didn’t feel compelled to post much about a company while on the outside looking in? I’m a relatively new hire and will probably post occasionally.
Bottom line is Spitfire’s SBI prep was fresher and seemed more focused than the ECIC sessions, where the instructor would try to trip your up with unnecessary info and slowly spoken radio calls to kill time - artificial stressors not part of the real deal. Both companies had limited spacing for the sessions but spitfire always had smaller groups and more 1-on-1 time. Maybe that was by design; maybe it was because of a much smaller client base.
I did ECIC in-person 4-5 years prior before deciding to ride out an AGR for a while. When I re-attacked the academics last year I don’t think a single video had changed in half a decade. Just one example of how they’d become complacent. I agree that for most people, either will get you where you need to be. That said, I’d recommend Spitfire above ECIC.
