Question about the position bid. Why would someone junior to you keep their base that you wanted even though you bid for their base and are senior? I'm not saying I would have even gotten the spot but it is a pretty weird system.
All additions are processed first. Then if there are reductions those get processed. Then pilots being reduced have bumping rights and then pilots being bumped have bumping rights all the way to the bottom of the seniority list…Bidding for a base or a position does not come with bumping rights
