Next, reductions are processed. These are people who are getting forced out of their base/seat. In this example, you're most likely talking about a junior LAX Airbus Capt. If he's getting displaced, he can bid into ANY position at ANY base at this company, so as long as his seniority can hold it (regardless of a spot open or not). Say he bids ANC CA. It would then force the bottom ANC CA guy out and this bottom ANC CA then gets to exercise his displacement rights. Rinse/repeat.
