It takes two seconds to put the fluids in the logbook. I don't get a free pass for things I miss on my 4am walk around, why should somebody get a free pass on my certificate because they blocked in at 4am?
I get what you're saying. 🍻 And I'm not arguing against your point of view. Just saying there are other potential consequences. And it's totally ok that you do it your way. Not that you need my signoff. All in all, this is why I often check if I didn't see the FO put it in the book. I'm not trying to be a control freak, I'm just trying to keep us on the right path.
